Primary immunodeficiencies (PID) are a group of chronic conditions that affect the body's immune system, the majority of PIDs cannot be cured.
Adults and children affected by PID have little or no natural defence against infections. They can experience an array of health problems ranging from recurrent colds and other respiratory ailments such as bronchitis to heart problems, pneumonia, skin disorders and arthritis.

UK PIN fully supports this campaign and will work closely with all parties to improve the access to specialist immunology services by patients with all forms of PID. |
